Vehicle dents are a part of life. No matter how careful we are, our vehicles seem to always attract dents!
Whether it’s from a rogue shopping cart in a parking lot, an animal crossing the highway, or from backing into a tree, dents can happen constantly and can be quite unsightly.
There are, of course, ways to remove or at least minimize dents on a vehicle without having to spend a ton of money at the body shop.
If a dent is located on a plastic part of the vehicle body, like a bumper, one possible way to remove it is with a heat gun.

Remove Dents With A Heat Gun
A heat gun is a great tool to have around the house for a variety of reasons. I use mine to loosen up adhesives and rusty bolts, dry paint, and more.
The video above shows how we removed a dent using my Wagner Furno 500 heat gun. Note: I used a medium heat setting and a low fan speed. Keep the heat gun in constant motion while using it. You do not want to stay in one spot or you risk damaging the bumper.
