When we purchased our older home in 2015, we created a list of changes that we wanted to make. Some of these upgrades, like replacing the old pink carpets, were taken care of right away, but other projects had to wait a little while.
For the past year or so, I’ve taken on the more difficult renovations on the list: the kitchen and dining rooms. We’ve been replacing the old appliances with new ones, installed a new sink and concrete countertops, refaced the kitchen cabinets, added new drawer hardware, changed the colors with new paint, and added board and batten wainscoting in the dining room.
One of the last major upgrades to make was new flooring for the kitchen and dining room, and I’m thrilled to say that the time for our new floors has come!
